Going from Phu Quoc Island to Golden Bridge by Flight + Car
Direct Flight from Phu Quoc Island to Da Nang
The fastest way to get to Golden Hands Bridge from Phu Quoc Island is taking a flight to Da Nang and then have a private transfer by car/bus from Da Nang to Ba Na Hills.
A direct flight from Phu Quoc Island to Da Nang will be 1,5 hours long. It’s often operated by Vietjet Air (flight number started with VJ) and potentially by Vietnam Airlines (flight number started with VN). If want to see Golden Hands Bridge on the same day, visitors should choose the earliest flight and then reach the bridge right after arriving at Da Nang.
In Nha Trang, visitors need to go to the Phu Quoc Island International Airport (PQC). This airport is around 10,5 kilometers away from Dong Duong and it’s around 17 kilometers from An Thoi. To get to it, both public transportation and private transfers are possible.
Today, the Cam Ranh International Airport has two terminals: Terminal 2 (T2) for flights to other countries and Terminal 1 (T1) for flights inside Vietnam. To fly to Da Nang, it’s needed to come to Terminal 1. Passengers are advised to be in the airport at least 2 hours before departure, so should leave Hanoi 3-3,5 hours earlier. Other Flights from Phu Quoc Island to Da Nang

In Ho Chi Minh city, particularly Tan Son Nhat International Airport, there are 3 terminals including Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 for flights inside Vietnam. After landing, please check carefully that your flight departs from Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 (depending on the airline you booked). If same terminal, it would be simple. If have to go to a different terminal, please take a bus or private taxi to reach the right one. In Hanoi, there are two terminals including Terminal 1 for domestic flights. From Phu Quoc Island, passengers will go to this terminal and then just wait here to fly to Da Nang.

Other Ways to Go from Phu Quoc Island to Golden Bridge
Phu Quoc – Can Tho – Golden Bridge
Can Tho is the biggest city in the Mekong Delta or the southwest region of Vietnam. So, its traffic connection with the rest of the country is better than Phu Quoc Island, giving more options for tourists.
Visitors can go from Phu Quoc Island to Can Tho city and then take a flight to Da Nang from Can Tho. There is no flight between these places at the moment.
To go to Can Tho from Phu Quoc Island, visitors need to take a ferry to Rach Gia or Ha Tien. Duration of the ferry to Rach Gia is around 3 hours long, and it’s 2,5 hours if go to Ha Tien. Distance from Rach Gia to Can Tho is nearly 105 kilometers. From Ha Tien, it’s 177 kilometers. For that reason, Rach Gia is closer to Can Tho than Ha Tien.
In Can Tho, there is one airport only called ‘Can Tho International Airport’ (code: VCA). This airport has a terminal for both domestic and international flights.

Phu Quoc – Ho Chi Minh City – Golden Bridge
From Phu Quoc Island, visitors can take a ferry to Rach Gia or Ha Tien on the mainland, and then take a car/bus to Ho Chi Minh city. The distance from Ha Tien to Ho Chi Minh city is around 315 kilometers. From Rach Gia, it’s about 236 kilometers. Therefore, Rach Gia is closer to Ho Chi Minh city than Ha Tien. Duration of the one-way transfer from here will be 5 hours long.

Cable Cars to Golden Hands Bridge
The only way to reach Golden Hands Bridge today is by taking the cable car. At Ba Na Hills, there are 5 cable car routes to choose from, including one direct route to the bridge (departing from Hoi An 1 Station).
