Best Time to Visit Golden Bridge Vietnam

The best time to visit Golden Bridge Vietnam is during the dry season (from February to September). In this period of the year, the weather here is described as ‘4 seasons in one day’. It’s sunny, dry, and really cool thanks to high elevation (over 1,400 meters).

During the rainy season, from October to end of January, it’s usually cloudy/foggy and wet in Golden Bridge and Ba Na Hills.

Ticket Prices of Golden Bridge in Vietnam

Golden Hands Bridge lies within Sun World Ba Na Hills. To see it, visitors will need to pay for a fee to enter this park. In 2025, Ba Na Hills ticket price is 950,000 VND (approximately 38 USD) per adult and children above 1,39 meters, and 750,000 VND (approximately 30 USD) per children from 1 to 1,39 meters. It’s free of charge for kids under 1 meter.

Ba Na Hills ticket price INCLUDES a roundtrip cable car, entry to Golden Bridge and other attractions (Fantasy Park, Le Jardin d’Amour Gardens, Linh Ung Pagoda, giant Buddha, Lunar Castle, French Village, Chua Mountain Peak, Ba Na Brew House, Helios Waterfall,…), all funicular rides, all amusement rides, shows and performances during the day,… In 2025, each visitor above 18 years old will receive 2 free beers at Ba Na Brew House.

Additionally, Ba Na Hills ticket price will EXCLUDE Debay Wine Cellar ticket, Ba Na Hills Wax Museum ticket, alpine coaster ticket, climbing game ticket, prize winning games, foods and beverages, tour guide, shopping,…

If want to add lunch buffet, total cost of Ba Na Hills ticket is 1,250,000 VND per adult and children above 1,39 meters (height), and 950,000 VND per children from 1 to 1,39 meters (height). For children under 1 meter, it’s free of charge.

After 3:00 PM, Ba Na Hills ticket price is 1,000,000 VND (approximately 40 USD) per adult and children above 1,39 meters, 750,000 VND (approximately 30 USD) per children from 1 to 1,39 meters, and free of charge for kids under 1 meter. Going to Ba Na Hills

Golden Hands Bridge is located within Ba Na Hills, a massive amusement park sitting on the top of Da Nang’s highest mountain (about 1,400 meters above sea level).

The nearest train station to Ba Na Hills/Golden Bridge is also in Da Nang city center (the Da Nang Railway Station). The distance is around 25 kilometers too. If reaching Da Nang area by a cruise, visitors will dock at Da Nang Cruise Port (or Tien Sa Port) or Chan May Cruise Port (Hue Cruise Port). The distance to Ba Na Hills is 35 kilometers and 50 kilometers respectively. If do not book a tour, the best way is having a roundtrip transfer by car/van/bus. It’s cheaper if pick up outside the terminal where the cruise ship docks because visitors doesn’t have to pay 20 USD per person for the fee.

At the entrance of Da Nang Downtown Theme Park (formerly Asia Park) in Da Nang city center, visitors can use free shuttle bus to go to Ba Na Hills. Pick up time is 2 PM, 5 PM, and 6 PM. It’s better to use this service in the dry season compared to the rainy season because in late afternoon and evening, it’s always foggy at Golden Bridge. Therefore, visitors won’t see much there. Cable Cars to Golden Hands Bridge

After arriving Ba Na Hills, visitors need to take one of the cable cars to reach Golden Hands Bridge. The quickest cable car ride departs from the Hoi An Station. Distance between Ba Na Hills main entrance and this station is around 400 meters (there is one escalator on the way). From here, it takes visitors around 20-30 minutes to reach the arrival station – Marseille Station. To find Golden Hands Bridge, take the escalator and look to the right to see the bridge’s entrance.

If Hoi An Station is closed and have to go to Suoi Mo Station instead, visitors will land at the Ba Na Station. From here, it’s needed to walk to the D’Amour Station to have a 2-minute funicular ride up to the hilltop. The train carries passengers to Le Jardin Station. From this place, turn left and go through the colorful ceramic gates to see Golden Hands Bridge.

Golden Bridge without Cable Car?

Today, visitors can not go to Golden Hands Bridge without cable car. The road leading to it from foot of Ba Na Hills was closed already due to safety reason.

Golden Bridge Itinerary with Ba Na Hills Cable Cars

Because Golden Hands Bridge is accessible only by cable car, the itinerary to visit it and other attractions in Ba Na Hills will depend on cable car schedule of the day.

There are many cable cars at the base of Ba Na Hills to go up to the top of the mountain. The cable car at Hoi An Station (or Hoi An 1 Station) will take visitors directly to Golden Hands Bridge among them. It takes only 20-25 minutes. After sightseeing and taking photo at the bridge, on the same hill, Le Jardin d’Amour Gardens, Debay Wine Cellar, Linh Ung Pagoda, Big Buddha are must see attractions. To discover the rest of the park, return to the bridge and take cable car to French Village area. If like Lunar Castle, take Lava train to get there and get back. Unless, go to Fantasy Park, Saint Denis Church, Helios Waterfall, Ba Na Brew House,… Some buffet and many other restaurants are located around this area. To go down and end the trip, take cable car at L’Indochine Station or Taiga Station.

If cable car at Hoi An Station is unavailable, go up by cable car at Suoi Mo Station is possible if want to see Golden Hands Bridge first. After cable car, it’s needed to take a funicular ride to get up to the hill where the bridge, Le Jardin d’Amour Gardens, Debay Wine Cellar, Linh Ung Pagoda, and Big Buddha are located. To discover the rest of the park, return to the bridge and take cable car to French Village area. If like Lunar Castle, take Lava train to get there and get back. Unless, go to Fantasy Park, Saint Denis Church, Helios Waterfall, Ba Na Brew House,… Some buffet and many other restaurants are located around this area. Two of cable cars at Ba Na Hills will take visitors to French Village area, particularly Toc Tien Station and Champa Station. In this situation, we recommend exploring this part of the park first and then go to Lunar Castle before Golden Bridge. There are several buffet restaurants and many a la carte restaurants around French Village. If not interested in Lunar Castle, take cable car at Louvre Station to reach the bridge. Do not forget sightseeing other places on the same hill (Le Jardin d’Amour Gardens, Debay Wine Cellar, Linh Ung Pagoda, Big Buddha,…). The new cable car from Hoi An 2 Station (near Hoi An Station) takes visitors to Lunar Castle. After exploring this castle, we recommend taking Lava train (funicular) to French Village area. Attractions, activities and restaurants are a lot here. Next, take cable car at Louvre Station to reach the bridge. Do not forget sightseeing other places on the same hill (Le Jardin d’Amour Gardens, Debay Wine Cellar, Linh Ung Pagoda, Big Buddha,…).
