Going from Nha Trang to Golden Bridge by Flight + Car

The fastest way to get to Golden Hands Bridge from Nha Trang is taking a flight to Da Nang and then have a private transfer by car/bus from Da Nang to Ba Na Hills.

A direct flight from Nha Trang to Da Nang will be 1 hour long. There are two local airlines to buy tickets today: Vietnam Airlines (flight number started with VN) and Vietjet Air (flight number started with VJ). If want to see Golden Hands Bridge on the same day, visitors should book the earliest flight and then reach the bridge right after arriving Da Nang.

We advise buying flight tickets as early as possible because each airline often operates one flight only from Nha Trang to Da Nang daily. If too late, visitors will take flights with a stop at Ho Chi Minh city or Hanoi (the price can be higher), or go to Da Nang by other vehicles.

In Nha Trang, visitors need to go to the Cam Ranh International Airport (CXR). This airport is around 43 kilometers away from Nha Trang city center (to the south). To get to it, both public transportation and private transfers are possible. If going by private car/bus, the drive is around 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the traffic. It will be longer if visitors stay on the islands or remote hotels.

Today, the Cam Ranh International Airport has two terminals: Terminal 2 (T2) for flights to other countries and Terminal 1 (T1) for flights inside Vietnam. To fly to Da Nang, it’s needed to come to Terminal 1. Passengers are advised to be in the airport at least 2 hours before departure, so should leave Nha Trang 3 hours earlier. In addition, Vietnam’s local airlines currently accept online check in (24 hours before) and E-boarding pass at Cam Ranh International Airport.

In the Da Nang International Airport (DAD), visitors will land at the Terminal 1 (Domestic terminal). Here, after baggage claim, just walk outside to see the driver (or the guide if book a tour) who often holds a sign showing passenger’s names. Taking a random taxi is okay but quite expensive. After that, the driver/guide will take visitors to the parking lot before driving to Ba Na Hills. Read how to get to Golden Bridge from Da Nang airport
