Although Lang Co and Chan May cruise port are within this city. The distance from them to Da Nang is shorter than to its city center.

On the other side, Golden Hands Bridge is located within Ba Na Hills, a theme park on top of the mountain, west of Da Nang city downtown. That’s why its elevation is 1,414 meters. To reach it, visitors need to take the cable car. The closest cable car station to it is the Marseille Station (the upper station of the line from the Hoi An Station).

Going from Hue to Golden Hands Bridge by Car/Bus

Roundtrip Transfer from Hue to Golden Bridge

The distance between Hue and Golden Hands Bridge (Ba Na Hills) is nearly 115 kilometers. If going by a private car/bus, the drive will be 2,5-3 hours long by the expressway through Bach Ma national park, and will be 3-3,5 hours long by the highway (QL1A or AH1). So, the total duration of a roundtrip is 5-7 hours.

After coming to Ba Na Hills, visitors need to walk to the cable car station and then ride the cable car to Golden Hands Bridge. If interested in the bridge only, 1,5-2 hours are enough. Spend more time if want to see other stunning attractions around this park (opening until 10:00 pm). On busy days, the van/bus can drop off passengers in the parking lot near its main entrance, but it’s not for smaller vehicles. Cars have to park in further lots and to get from one of them to the main entrance, there is a free shuttle bus or buggy to take. This transfer won’t be long.

We recommend departing from Hue in the morning to arrive at Ba Na Hills before lunch. After visiting Golden Hands Bridge and other places, visitors can have lunch. In the afternoon, take the cable car down to the base of the hills and then drive back to Hue.
