The only way to reach Golden Hands Bridge today is by taking the cable car. At Ba Na Hills, there are 5 cable car routes to choose from, including one direct route to the bridge (departing from Hoi An 1 Station). Hoi An to Golden Bridge by Private Car/Bus
Golden Hands Bridge at Ba Na Hills is about 45 kilometers northwest of Hoi An city center (the Hoi An old town) or An Bang beach area. It takes visitors nearly 1 hour to get there by private car/bus. Meaning that a roundtrip transfer will have a 2 hour duration.
To avoid the crowds at Golden Hands Bridge, it’s needed to come in the early morning or late afternoon. From Hoi An, visitors must book a private car/bus to do this. Hoi An to Golden Bridge by Car/Motorbike + Free Shuttle Bus
There is one free shuttle bus going from Da Nang city center to Golden Bridge Ba Na Hills everyday. It’s arranged by Ba Na Hills owner. Pick up times are 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm, and 6:00 pm. Visitors need to go to the entrance of Da Nang Downtown Theme Park on 2 Thang 9 Street to see it.
The drive to Golden Bridge Ba Na Hills by free shuttle bus from Da Nang is around 1 hour long. Meaning that visitors will be in Ba Na Hills at 3:00 pm, 6:00 pm or 7:00 pm. The bus will drop off at the main entrance (near the ticket office).

At Ba Na Hills, the shuttle bus returns to Da Nang city center (entrance of Da Nang Downtown Theme Park) at 8:30 pm, 9:30 pm, and 10:30 pm. The best route is the coastal road Lac Long Quan Road + Tien Son Bridge Road. From anywhere in Hoi An, find the shortest direction to the crossroads of Lac Long Quan Road and Hai Ba Trung Road at An Bang Beach. After that, go along Lac Long Quan Road towards the north (or towards Da Nang city) and then Truong Sa Road, Vo Nguyen Giap Road. At the crossroad of Vo Nguyen Giap Road and Ho Xuan Huong Road (in the front of Pullman Resort), turn left to enter Ho Xuan Huong Road. Next, go straight ahead, cross Tien Son Bridge, and turn right to enter 2 Thang 9 Road. Go straight until see the September 2 Monument on the right hand side (in a large square). The entrance of Da Nang Downtown Theme Park lies behind this memorial monument. Parking lots are nearby, and it’s 100% free in 2025.
Our thoughts: Going to Golden Bridge Ba Na Hills from Hoi An by car/motorbike and shuttle bus is quite cheap but little confusing. Visitors will arrive at Ba Na Hills after 3 pm. During the rainy season (October to January), it’s cloudy/foggy and wet in this period of the day, therefore the experience won’t be great.
If traveling with seniors or/and small kids, changing vehicles and waiting many times are not good selections. Taking a private car/bus will help to save time and have a comfortable transport.

Hoi An to Golden Bridge by Motorbike
Going to Golden Bridge Ba Na Hills by motorbike (scooter) is the cheapest way from Hoi An. Because the distance is around 45 kilometers, so it takes visitors over an hour to reach the bridge (may be longer if want to ride slowly to keep safe). For that reason, it’s needed to have a full day to get there, sightsee Golden Bridge and discover the rest of Ba Na Hills.
Rental price for 1 motorbike (scooter) is from 200,000 to 300,000 VND per day. In many places, ‘one day’ means 24 hours from when you hire. This price includes the helmet and rain poncho, and doesn’t include fuel, insurance, water, parking fees, tickets, etc. Fuel cost in Vietnam won’t be expensive (approximately 1 USD each litter).
The fastest route to go from Hoi An to Golden Bridge Ba Na Hills is Lac Long Quan Road + Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Road + Ba Na Suoi Mo Road. From anywhere in Hoi An, find the shortest direction to the crossroad of Lac Long Quan Road and Hai Ba Trung Road at An Bang Beach. After that, go along Lac Long Quan Road towards the north (or towards Da Nang city) and then Truong Sa Road. At the crossroad of Truong Sa Road and Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Road (in the front of Sheraton Grand Resort), turn left to enter Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Road. Next, just ride along this wide boulevard until this spot on Google maps: 16°01’05.0″N 108°03’44.3″E. Here, turn right and then turn left to enter Ba Na Suoi Mo Road, another boulevard. Follow it until this spot on Google maps: 16°01’40.3″N 108°02’02.8″E (the bike parking lot of Ba Na Hills).
At the bike parking lot of Ba Na Hills, visitors will receive a security card. The operational hours here are same to the whole park, from 7:30 am to 10 pm daily. Parking service is 100% fee.
From Ba Na Hills bike parking lot, walk across the road and then downhill by the covered path. After 5-7 minutes, visitors will see ticket counters, luggage storage, and toilets.

Best Way(s) to Go from Hoi An to Golden Bridge
If want to go in the early morning to beat the crowds at Golden Bridge Ba Na Hills, the best way is taking a private car/bus, or riding the motorbike on your own. Shared buses will pick up after 7:00 AM and then arrive at the park around 8:30 AM. If take this option, it’s impossible to skip the long lines in either the cable car station or Golden Hands Bridge.
