Traveling to Da Nang Vietnam by Train
From many cities in Vietnam, visitors can go to Da Nang by train. From north to south, there are Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Dong Hoi, Hue, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Phan Thiet, Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Ly (Ha Nam), Nam Dinh, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Ha Tinh, Dong Ha, Tam Ky, Quang Ngai, Tuy Hoa, Phan Rang.
The closest train station to Phong Nha is in Dong Hoi. The distance is some 40 kilometers. Visitors can take a private car/bus to reach Dong Hoi Train Station and then go to Da Nang.
The closest train station to Mui Ne is in Phan Thiet. The distance is nearly 30 kilometers. Visitors can take a private car/bus to reach Binh Thuan Train Station (or Phan Thiet Train Station) and then go to Da Nang.
From Sapa, visitors can go to nearby Lao Cai Train Station (30 kilometers distance), and then take train to Hanoi and Da Nang respectively.

Better to Know about Da Nang Train Station
The central railway station at Da Nang is the Da Nang Train Station. It’s located on Hai Phong Street, Thanh Khe district within the city center. The distance from this place to the Da Nang International Airport (DAD) is nearly 1 kilometer, and to Hoi An, the distance will be 30 kilometers.
Around the Da Nang Train Station, there are many restaurants, coffee shops and shops.

Best Way to Go from Da Nang Train Station to Golden Bridge
From the Da Nang Train Station, visitors can choose one of these ways go to Golden Bridge in Ba Na Hills:
Way 1 (by a private car/bus): it’s needed to book in advance through local businesses. The driver will wait at the arrival gate with a sign showing your full name. After meeting up, he takes you to the car in the parking lot, just 1 minute walk from the arrival gate. It’s easy to get there with luggage. The drive to Ba Na Hills is from 40 to 60 minutes, depending on the traffic and weather.
The van/bus will drop you off at the parking lot near Ba Na Hills main entrance. If have a car, on busy days, there is one free shuttle bus carrying tourists from the car parking lot to the main entrance. If using the service from reliable places, you can put your luggages in the car (except money and other valuable items) before going to Golden Bridge.

There are no additional fees for waiting at Ba Na Hills if taking a private car from local businesses.
Way 2 (by taxi): just walk to the other side of the road in front of the arrival gate to find a taxi. The price is per kilometer, and if have a round-trip (two-way) transfer, it will be cheaper. To have a pleasant experience, remember to ask the total cost in advance. The drive to Ba Na Hills is from 40 to 60 minutes, depending on the traffic and weather. On busy days, from the car parking lot where the taxi drops you off, there is one free shuttle bus carrying tourists to the main entrance. For better safety for your own belongings, you should go to the luggage storage that is next to the ticket counter (see more information in the section below). The next tip is asking the phone number of the taxi driver to contact when needed. Many local drivers use WhatsApp or Zalo or Line. Try one of them if possible!
Extra fee will be charged for waiting at Ba Na Hills. So, remember to ask how long you have in the park for visiting to avoid the additional fees.

Cable Cars to Golden Hands Bridge
The only way to reach Golden Hands Bridge today is by taking the cable car. At Ba Na Hills, there are 5 cable car routes to choose from, including one direct route to the bridge (departing from Hoi An 1 Station). These are amongst the longest and the steepest cable cars worldwide. On average, it takes visitors 20-30 minutes to finish a ride, depending on the weather conditions.
